The Ferry Inn is a traditional Norfolk Broads public house, situated on the River Bure. Run by Alison and her family, the Ferry Inn sits within picturesque, tranquil and unspoiled surroundings, perfect for enjoying a meal in the beer garden watching the boats go by. Inside the 19th century bar and restaurant, the open fireplaces, wooden settles and beams make the atmosphere cosy and warm. As well as dining in the bar area, there is also a separate light and airy dining room, which also hosts local artists work for you to view. An experience enjoyed during any season, the Ferry Inn welcomes you whatever the weather.

We also run Stokesby Village Shop from the same location, which is full of homemade cakes, chocolates and deli produce. We pride ourselves on our freshly baked generous portions, offering a huge selection of delights which also include gluten free options. Our chocolates are a particular favourite of our customers and we thoroughly enjoy making them too!

At The Ferry Inn we are exceptionally proud of our food, not only from the bakery in the shop but also our traditional and seasonal menus served within the pub. We offer something for everyone, be it vegetarian, gluten free or other dietary requirements, and have a children’s menu for the younger ones. We offer food all day, take a look at our menus to get a taste of what’s available.

We have an extensive selection of Adnams ales, wines and spirits, including their award winning gins and vodkas. Alongside these we also offer other lagers, beers and ciders as well as a good selection of soft drinks including tea and coffees.

All in all your visit to The Ferry Inn will not disappoint. Come and sit in our large beer garden and soak up the riverside atmosphere, or moor your boat up for the day and explore the village, or join us for a family meal and let the children have fun in the play area. Dogs are welcome inside and out, we do ask that they are kept on a lead please. We are fully accessible for those with mobility needs and have a car park at the rear of the pub for our customers. We highly recommend booking, especially if you are planning for a group visit. Please call us to discuss your requirements; Alison, her family and the team look forward to welcoming you to our home.
